Im very exited to release the Official Music Video for "NorthStar Turning!" The audio was a live off the floor take at Alderbash practice leading up to DirtBag Film festival. I will likely do a studio recording at a later date.
This song is a celebration of our little ski hill and the repaired/ fully operational chair lift that brings us to the top.(NorthStar Quad)
It is the sequel to my song "NorthStar Burning", the CBC Searchlight fan choice award winning song I wrote the previous year, depicting the treacherous arson that destroyed the lift hut.
I hope it brings joy to folks who have ever enjoyed a bright blue sky after a heaping dump of powder. Us Kimberley locals like to enjoy drinking cold ones and tokin' about stuff in little hidden gathering spots call Sun Pits. MOst of my footage
I attempted re recording my guitar but just couldn't get the live vibe, so its a quick and dirty audio recording as it should be, being my DirtBAg Fest submission :) Thanks for watching
