A true veteran of the Kingston music scene, Greg has been electrifying audiences for over 50 years. Before co-founding Guilty Pleasures, Greg lent his considerable talents to such beloved Kingston acts as The Kim Pollard Band, The City Slickers, and Rockin' Horse, leaving his indelible mark on each. Greg's playing style is steeped in the blues, a soulful expression honed by his deep appreciation for guitar legends like Mark Knopfler, Eric Clapton, Joe Bonamassa, and the iconic Stevie Ray Vaughan. His passion and experience shine through in every note he plays, making him an indispensable and thrilling part of the Guilty Pleasures experience.
Matt Clow
Guilty Pleasures' rhythmic backbone comes courtesy of their newest member, the powerhouse drummer Matt Clow. With an impressive 45 years under his belt and 39 of those spent professionally gigging, Matt brings a wealth of experience and a rock-solid foundation to the band's sound.
Before joining Guilty Pleasures, Matt was a driving force behind the main band Little Betty. His reputation for laying down a powerful beat also led to extended stints sitting in with notable acts like Killing Time and Still Standing. Fans might also recall Matt's earlier collaborations, filling in with you and Deb on various occasions over the years.
Matt's musical journey includes the release of two albums in the '90s, both of which garnered radio play, showcasing his dynamic and engaging drumming style. Throughout his career, Matt has had the distinct honour of sharing the stage with a diverse range of iconic artists, including Robbie Krieger, Sass Jordan, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Trooper, Benny Mardones, Buffalo Springfield Again, and The Tea Party.
Drawing inspiration from legendary drummers such as John Bonham, Keith Moon, Todd Sucherman, and Joey Kramer, Matt's playing is a potent blend of power, precision, and feel. His dedication to his craft is further underscored by his studies with Kingston and Canada's esteemed drummer, Chris McCann. Wil McGonegal
Wil McGonegal, a cornerstone of Kingston's vibrant music scene, has laid down the low end for over 45 years and counting. As a founding member of Guilty Pleasures, Wil brings a seasoned professionalism and an unwavering groove to the band's sound. A self-described "stay-at-home" bassist, Wil's true talent lies in his uncanny ability to lock in tight with drummer Matt Clow, forging a rock-solid rhythmic foundation that allows Guilty Pleasures to truly groove.
