Marke Andrews of the Vancouver Sun describes the quartet�s music as "running free through the trackless terrain of collective improvisation yet never sounding lost, aimless, or dispirited." Mark Corroto of All About Jazz writes, "they play jazz music like there is no more important mission in this world." Undoubtedly, the band has a chemistry that works and an organic sound that is highly original. The music emphasizes spontaneous improvisation within a wide range of structural devices.
