Event Description

MIDI SYNC is hosted by Garden City Electronic Music Society and the Copper Owl.

This is the 4TH night in this series. MIDI SYNC performances include a local cast of curated synthers carefully navigating the maze that is MIDI technology. An educational experience for players and non players alike.

How it works:

- 8 players take one MIDI clock signal to sync to their gear
- then players are randomly selected in pairs to jam out 20 min pieces
- once the first round of 20 minute performances are complete, performers are then placed in randomly selected groups of 4
- master jam! all 8 musicians work together to create one sonic masterpiece
