A celebration of Rick's Induction into the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame!
Award-winning singer, songwriter, actor and raconteur, Rick Scott has a gift for combining warm-hearted humour and poignant human commentary that has earned him a devoted following from four generations around the world.
For over 45 years Rick has performed in 11 countries and released 18 albums honoured with three Juno nominations and WCMA, Parents’ Choice and Canadian Folk Music Awards.
Getting a star on Granville Street returns him to his roots as a busker, immortalized in Ryan Larkin’s groundbreaking 1972 animation ‘Street Musique’. Arguably best known for his work with Shari Ulrich and Joe Mock in the legendary folk trio 'Pied Pumkin', he’s now having the time of his life playing with brilliant young keyboardist Nico Rhodes in 'Roots & Grooves'.
Representatives from the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame will be present to present this iconic BC entertainer with his award.
