Tryg and the Band bring an electrifying fusion of rock, blues, country, and folk, delivering high-energy performances that has the crowds up on their feet and getting down with the beat! Their live shows are brash and banging, turning every venue into a full-throttle celebration of Kootenay forged music.
Pars and Guitars Music Series brings you performers that you would not normally see in Kimberley. The beauty of the setting creates an unforgettable experience. The patio is surrounded by beautiful flowers that overlooks 18th hole. It is the ideal place to enjoy live music, delicious food, and watch the sun go down.

Built around the raw, soulful and catchy songwriting of Tryg Strand, listeners are drawn to move with the rhythm and groove injected by Pat Carrick and Fraser Smith. Their live shows are brash and banging, turning every venue into a full-throttle celebration of Kootenay forged music.
Tryg released his first three singles in the spring of 2024, highlighted by CBC Radio picking up “Rat Race” to play and feature. This momentum carried through summer, highlighted by a Solo Kootenay Tour, and gracing the main stage of Flats Fest, Steamboat Mountain Music Fest, Radius’s Local Lineup and The Mountain Mosaic Arts Festival.
