Event Description

Learn about this exciting new year-round writing program by – and for – community writers.
Tour the classroom space, meet our instructors, register for upcoming workshops and writing groups, and take part in an informal round-table chat about the value of creative writing with local Kingston artists Bruce Kauffman, Adrian Michael Kelly, Jermaine Marshall, Aric McBay, and Wilding on Tuesday, June 24.

Introducing WordLabs!, a new not-for-profit writing workshop program operating under the aegis of Kingston Literacy & Skills. This exciting initiative offers year-round writing workshops, seminars, and writing series by writers in our community, for writers in our community, aiming to foster a lifelong love of literacy. Writing is more than a basic skill — it’s a powerful form of expression. From songs to stories, personal reflections to professional communication, writing helps us articulate ideas, connect with others, and build confidence.
