Mari Rosehill is a predominately Indie/Folk singer-songwriter, with moments of Alternative/Rock and is often compared to a young Joni Mitchell. Her vocal range and poignant lyrics swiftly engage the audience and her honest storytelling keeps them captivated. The main theme of Rosehill’s music centres around her journey with mental health and sobriety. She touches on personal life experiences yet softens their vulnerable edges through whimsical expressions. Mari was awarded an emerging artist bursary through the Town Of Canmore in 2022, which she used to Self-Produce her first LP “Perception of a Self” from home. It was released on June, 26th, 2024 and she debuted it at Canmore’s artsPlace.
