Nature's Attraction: Margo Styan, Faith Livingstone

Event Description

The ArtSea Gallery will be displaying two visual artists who will be selling paintings, cards, and fabric art wall hangings. Margo Styan's fabric art consists of memories from her life including from her 2 decades spent in the Yukon, now with many west coast influences. Many of the fabrics were hand-dyed by her husband, and they continue to work together more and more. And Faith Livingstone's impressionist style reflects her love of colour and whimsy. She has, over the years, worked in pastels, oils, mixed media, watercolours and alcohol inks. She is currently working mainly in acrylics. Her subjects vary from landscapes to portraits, to florals. Faith's art has been juried into art shows in Winnipeg, Manitoba (Winnipeg Sketch Club) Vancouver Island (Sooke Fine Arts Show and Victoria Federation of Canadian Artists) and the BC Interior (Federation of Canadian Artists OASIS and The Lake Country Art Walk). Faith has also had a number of successful shows in Victoria and Sidney BC. Many of her paintings are in private collections throughout western Canada.
