Event Description

There is no curtain to be drawn, no fanfare alluded from beyond . The clown, slumped over: knees supporting elbows, elbows supporting hands, hands supporting head, tilts his head up, and emits a frown as his hands break the contortedly supported kinetic chain.

“Stains,” He begins to speak. “Stains, Delays, Defects, and Flaws,” his breath lingers as the final pluralization slides out from between his teeth. “These are our esteemed guests, the ones welcomed to the festivities. The Glitch...Gala,” once again, pausing with the stinging sound at the end of his second word, before altering his affect to ordain the final word with the revere it’s known to engender.

A Glitch, often sudden and passing, and explicitly a malfunction; a failure to function in a normal or satisfactory manner. Does that not resonate with you? Are you not yourself…a glitch? Indeed, you likely are; and if not, then you might find yourself the aberration on this eve. Either way, this is a gala like any other. And, much like any other Gala, there too is a dress code for this occasion. However, much unlike any other Gala, it mightn’t necessarily be so sacred. You choose! How do you represent yourself?
