Drawings on paper in oil pastel, ink, charcoal. from Victoria BC
Event Description
Fermata is a musical term meaning a pause of unspecified length. For Liz, who sings with the choir Ensemble Laude, a walk in the woods or along a beach can deliver a visual fermata, caused by light glancing through the trees or bouncing off the water. Liz makes large-scale charcoal drawings that capture these moments, preserving them in the dreamy stillness of soft monochrome.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
