Event Description
Celebrate Canada and the art of storytelling with your Kingston Symphony!
This all-ages performance features music by Canadian composer Abigail Richardson-Schulte, bringing to life two classic Canadian stories: Roch Carrier's The Hockey Sweater and the fable The Gull, the Raccoon, and the Last Maple.
Prior to the performance, we invite you to join us for interactive, family-friendly pre-show activities. We are pleased to partner with Joe’s Musical Instrument Lending Library, who will provide instruments for audience members to try. Special thanks to the Kawartha Credit Union and the Community Foundation for Kingston & Area for their generous support of these activities.
This concert is presented with support from The Smith Homestead Foundation, Classic FM, and WPBS.
