Join the Awakeneers for an uplifting evening of original folk music.

Described as "medicine for the soul" the Awakeneers' repertoire of original music brings a fresh perspective to principles that are common to all spiritual and religious traditions. Through poetic and direct lyrics, evocative melodies, and supportive instrumentation, an Awakeneers concert aims to give a gift of inspiration, joy, and recognition that supports individuals' journey on the Way, whatever path they may be taking.

This evening's concert will trace the storyline of spiritual unfoldment. From the beginning of the quest, the inner journey continues through the arduous challenges of self-mastery, the onset of mystic awakening, and on to the realities of higher life. From humble beginnings, a profound magical ambience gradually emerges through the weave of songs and stories. At times simple and ingenuous, humbly blunt and humorous, surprising or audacious, powerfully evocative, poignant, delightful, thought-provoking, insightful, reverential, prayerful, and ultimately inspirational.

This event will be held in the United Commons Chapel - 932 Balmoral Rd, Victoria, BC V8T 1A8 (accessed from the back of the building)

Sunday, October 4th 7 pm (doors open at 6:30 pm) - 9:30 pm
